Featured Brand: Tornos :: QuickTECH
The origins of Tornos go back to the year 1880, which saw the production of the first machines used to turn small parts for the horological (Swiss watch) industry in the Moutier region. In the 60s and 70s, three local companies - Tornos, Bechler and Petermann - merged to form one single group called Tornos-Bechler, whose reputation in world markets soon rose over the years. Since the 90s, Tornos has been looking towards the future and is now one of the leading companies in the small parts turning industry. With its DECO 2000 concept, the company now provides the market with radically new solutions and unrivalled performance. Tornos product lines include the Deco a-Line, Deco Sigma Line, Deco e-Line, Delta Line, and Micro Line.
EvoDECO: The new top of the line from Tornos.
Based on the Deco a-line, the new EvoDECO offers the highest possible rigidity and the most powerful spindles on the market today. Fully synchronous drives offer incredible acceleration/deceleration to significantly reduce cycle times for parts with a lot of stopping. A versatile and affordable machine, the EvoDECO comes well equipped and works with or without a guide bush.
DECO a-Line: Versatility, Flexibility, and Precision.
The DECO range combines the advantages of cam-operated lathes - speed, reliability and productivity with the advantages of NC machines: versatility, flexibility and precision.
DECO e-Line: Cost Effective "Packaged" Machine Kits
The Deco "e-line" is a cost-effective alternative for the production of parts that don't require an end unit. We took our best-selling a-line machine configurations and packaged them in kits that make ordering simple and streamlined. No options to worry about – fewer decisions to make. Designed to help our customers win every price war, the cost-effective e-line can produce 10 to 32mm diameter parts of medium complexity. Compatible with the Tornos "a" line, these 7-8 axis turning centers let you engage 3 tools on the bar simultaneously.
MICRO LINE: For Small Parts and Small Places
For our customers who hate to part with their old mechanically-driven cam systems but feel they must to compete globally, we offer the new Micro 7 and 8 – modular machines ideal for parts under 8mm diameter. They have a very small footprint and take up about the same amount of room as the old screw machines they were designed to replace. But they achieve precision of ±2 microns for the Micro 7 and ±1 micron for the Micro 8! They can be programmed in TB Deco or ISO; and they are built with 20 interchangeable tool positions.
DECO SIGMA Line: Simple to Medium Complexity Part
To accommodate the reasonably complex parts market that demands the highest levels of precision and quality, TORNOS has developed the new Sigma product range.
