A firm believer in high speed milling, Fidia has dedicated years of continuous research to the development of machines that have successfully operated worldwide since the early 90s. Continued market growth confirms the validity of the choices made by Fidia. Above all, high speed means high cutting speeds and fast spindle rotation speeds. The resulting high axis feeds can only be maintained by specially designed machines in order to guarantee precision and surface quality simultaneously. An initial result is a reduction in machining and manual finishing times. But high speed also means being able to machine very hard materials and thus simplify production cycles by enabling parts to be produced with just one positioning operation. The fixed bed structure enables to maintain constant the forces at play, independently of the weight of the workpiece, to easily observe the piece during the machining, to have an ample scope for customization as to limit the overall machine tool dimensions. The 5-axis version, available on all models, widens and highlights the advantages of high speed machining.
Fryer Machine Systems TR Series: The Fryer TR series 5-axis machining centers feature a trunnion rotary table for full 5 axis contouring. Fryer Machine Systems SX Series: The Fryer SX 5-axis machining centers feature a unique rotating spindle for full 5-axis contouring. The spindle nose gageline is kept at the center of rotation for exception accuracy. This design offers better performance for many applications including cylinder heads, air foils and tire mold applications. Featuring a powerful 20 HP vibration free motorized spindle, this machine has both low speed torque and high speed precision.
Fryer Machine Systems 5X Series: The 5X Series features a tilting rotary head providing 360° of rotation and 120° of spindle tilt. This cost effective solution is perfect for the aerospace, automotive and oil field industries where rotating the part is not practical. The high end Touch 2100 CNC control features Siemens technology with advanced 5 axis functions.
